Lol, shoutout to the Popo who almost single handedly played our mahjong game for us. Today I hung out at @yccyvr ‘s “Hot+Noisy” Chinatown Mahjong Social and it was so fun! I’ve been procrastinating learning how to play but today I finally learned yey! During our first round there was an old lady, who was as tall as I was sitting down that stood beside me for an entire game and helped me (and everyone else) play their best tiles. ? What a great way to connect two generations, even with language barriers. (PS: Mo yohng means ‘useless’ if I’m correct. Lol)
