The Chinese Canadian Museum (51 East Pender Street) and the Chinatown Storytelling Centre (168 East Pender Street) have announced temporary closures for renovations and exhibition updates.
The Chinese Canadian Museum is currently open, but will close from Wednesday, February 19, 2025 until Sunday, March 2, 2025.
The Chinatown Storytelling Centre, along with its gift shop, Foo Hung Curios, is currently closed with an expected reopening in early April, 2025. Through the closure, Foo Hung Curios will have a temporary pop-up location at Chinatown Vintage (131 East Pender Street). Note that construction has resulted in a sidewalk diversion.
