Join Chinatown Today as we launch the fifth volume of our signature publication, Chinatown Stories! Our first in-person launch party since 2019 will be held at Massy Arts Society (23 East Pender) from 2-4pm on Saturday, December 9, and will feature some of our key team members and contributors sharing their interpretations of the theme, “The Bridges Between Us”, as well as an interactive community mapping activity and refreshments.

Bridges are markers of the gaps dividing us, yet enable us to connect anyway. They can be built, they can be burnt, and they are critical crossing points in our journeys. What shape do the bridges between us take? Where will these bridges lead us next?
Join us on SATURDAY, DEC 9, 2023 from 2-4pm PST to celebrate the launch of Chinatown Stories Volume 5: The Bridges Between Us!
This free launch party will be your first chance to look at Chinatown Stories Volume 5, featuring some of the key contributors to the volume who will share their responses to the theme, “The Bridges Between Us”. More details on programming to come!
Copies of Chinatown Stories Volume 5: The Bridges Between Us will be available for purchase with a launch event discount! Limited snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.
