The Youth Collaborative for Chinatown is bringing back Hot & Noisy for a special BC Heritage Week edition at the Wongs’ Benevolent Association (123A East Pender Street) this Saturday, February 22 from 2:00-5:00pm. Celebrate “pastimes in past times” with free play/teach/learn mahjong in the historic Wongs’ Benevolent Association building, built in 1910.

Transit: Chinatown is accessible by transit via skytrain. The closest skytrain station is Stadium-Chinatown, which is a 10 minute walk from the Wongs’ Benevolent Association.
Parking: There is street parking in Chinatown. The nearest lots are located at Chinatown Plaza and International Village mall.
Seating: Limited seating (chairs & stools without backrests) will be provided.
Bathrooms: There are gendered bathrooms at the venue.
Venue Accessibility: The event will take place in the Wongs’ Benevolent Association, which is located in the upper floors of the century-old heritage building. The building has no elevator, and attendees will need to walk up a set of steep/narrow stairs.
