Chinatown Together is hosting a free Mother’s Day and Asian Heritage Month celebration from 1-4pm on Sunday, May 12! The event, which will be held at Chinatown Plaza Mall, will include a traditional Uyghur dance performance and workshop by Adalat Dance Academy, a tribute to the late Chinatown activist and poet William Lim by Carnegie Dance Troupe, a floral craft workshop by local artist shyegg_, and a cash-only “mini market” featuring handmade wares by local seniors. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Venue accessibility: The Chinatown Plaza Mall is accessible on Keefer Street, and has direct entry to the parkade.
