Yarrow Intergenerational Society for Justice is hosting a quilting workshop this Saturday, December 16 from 12-4pm. Join and design a square as part of the 100 Wishes Quilt 百家被 (baak3 gaa1 pei5) signifying good wishes, new life and dreams of a better life, together into one quilt.

Volunteering:
Yarrow is looking for volunteers to help with:
- sewing and needlework;
- event set-up and takedown;
- vehicle access; and
- onsite interpretation.
Please email both volunteer@yarrowsociety.ca and programs@yarrowsociety.ca to sign up!
Things to bring:
- Warm clothes
- Anything you’d like to incorporate into the quilt
Accessibility Information:
🗣️ Volunteer interpreters for Cantonese and Mandarin will be available onsite.
⛄ Dress warm for the temperature! We will have space heaters available on the day of (stay updated on our social media for contingency weather plans, just in case!)
🪑 Seating and most decorative supplies will be provided onsite, but feel free to bring anything else you want to include in our community quilt 🙂
😷 Masking is encouraged, even outdoors, as a form of community care for all our attendees, especially our seniors and immunocompromised.
🚰 Washrooms available across, located at Chinatown Plaza.
