Melody Ma of #SaveChinatownYVR is hosting In the Mood for Love for Chinatown: Qixi Festival, this Saturday, August 19 at the Chinatown Memorial Square. Part of this summer of square activations and community-focused events, In the Mood for Love for Chinatown will start at 1:30pm with a tour of the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Park (the public park adjacent to the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Garden) by former SYS Garden docent Kelly, with a free portrait session and love song social at 3:00pm. The event will run until 4pm, and volunteers to help with set-up and take-down are much appreciated.
